Definitions
- OF max Operating Force - maximum force that must be applied to move the actuator from rest position totripping point.
- RF min Release Force- minimum level that operating force must be reduced to that will allow the actuator snap action mechanism to release.
- PT max Pre-Travel- maximum distance between the rest position and thetripping point.
- OT min Operating Travel- minimum distance between the rest position and theoperating point.
- DT max Differential Travel- maximum distance between the tripping point and therelease point.
- Tripping Point Position of the actuator at which the snap action mechanism starts to operate.
- Operating Point Position of the actuator at which mechanical and electrical operation will reliably occur.
- Release Point Position of the actuator at which the snap action mechanism trips on its return to the rest position.
