About Novaris
Novaris was founded in 1993 in Kingston, Tasmania, as an Australian manufacturer of surge protection devices (SPDs) for power and signal circuits. The company designs products intended to withstand high-lightning-incidence environments, covering main switchboards, distribution boards, control cabinets, process control, railway signalling, network/CCTV and RF circuits.
Manufacturing has since expanded to Malaysia (established 2003, with a new factory completed in 2025), alongside Novaris offices in the Netherlands and Singapore.
