DCTL Series Thyristor Switching Modules
DCTL series thyristor modules are designed for dynamic (fast) power factor correction, utilising zero-cross switching to ensure extremely short switching times and minimise current peaks when connecting capacitor banks. This approach prevents voltage surges and significantly extends the service life of PFC components. Integrated current transformers allow for complete monitoring and effective protection of the capacitor banks.
Operational voltages range from 400 to 480 VAC, with higher ratings available on request. Advanced models offer NFC connectivity for programming via smart devices, as well as optical and RS-485 communication options for seamless integration with digital controllers. DCTL thyristor modules deliver reliable, high-speed switching for demanding commercial and industrial PFC systems.
